The Sanskrit word “seva” means “to serve” and refers to selfless service. Living Yoga strongly believes in giving back to the community through seva yoga events.
“Service expresses the divinity hidden in man. It broadens one’s heart, it destroys narrow-mindedness, and it gives delight. The evil qualities and tendencies in us can be driven away through service.” ~ Sri Sathya Sai Baba

2014 Yoga Mala for Peace – Yoga Warriors for Izzy
part of the Global Mala Project
We raised about $4200 for the Isabel Jurado Foundation in our 2014 Mala! Thank you for your participation & generous donations!
Please save the date for our 2015 Yoga Mala — Saturday, September 19, 2015.
Living Yoga and the Isabel Jurado family invite the yoga community to come together in peace to raise money for the Isabel Jurado Foundation.
The Isabel Jurado Foundation is a non-profit organization created in honor of Isabel “Izzy” Jurado, who was diagnosed in 2005 with Sanfilippo Syndrome, also called MPSIII. Sanfilippo Syndrome is a progressive, debilitating and terminal metabolic disease; children affected by this disease rarely live beyond their teens. The Isabel Jurado Foundation raises awareness and funds to support research for Sanfilippo Syndrome, and provides financial assistance to families with MPS diseases.
